Pleated Merv 11

The grade to run when filtration is part of the building’s job and not just the equipment’s protection. MERV 11 media captures fine airborne particles down to roughly 1 micron, at a pressure drop most commercial air handlers absorb without trouble.

What it catches: fine dust, vehicle exhaust and smog particulate, welding fume, lead and machining dust, pet dander, and most of what sits behind an allergy complaint.

Where it fits: medical offices, labs, class-A office space, hotels, gyms, and any building next to a highway, a loading dock or an industrial neighbor.

• Pleated cotton-polyester blend media on a wire-backed support
• Beverage-board frame with bonded diagonal supports
• Available in 1", 2" and 4" depths — go deeper to hold the airflow and stretch the interval
• Worth a look at the blower before stepping up from a MERV 8 in a 1" rack
