A disposable panel filter with lofted polyester media in place of fiberglass. It holds noticeably more dust than a MERV 2 panel at close to the same airflow, and it will not shed fibers into the airstream.
Where it fits: the sensible default wherever a fiberglass panel is getting changed too often. Common in light industrial space, multi-family buildings, rooftop units, make-up air, and any rack that is a nuisance to get to.
- Continuous-filament polyester media, tackified so it holds what it catches
- Stronger and more tear-resistant than fiberglass — it survives handling
- Higher dust-holding capacity, so fewer trips up to the rack
- Available in 1" and 2" depths
